Throughout the entire property – a healthy wooden building made from ecological materials – there are 4 apartments with a total capacity of 16 permanent beds + 4 extra beds.
Attic Apartments
2 elegant apartments with the most beautiful views of the Tatras and the peaceful garden, featuring a spacious bedroom, wooden floors, and characteristic slanted attic ceilings.
Ground Floor Apartments
2 spacious, barrier-free apartments with a large kitchen and living room that can be arranged in different ways – as a cozy living area or as a large dining space for up to 16 people.
Attic Apartments
Elegant, modern apartments furnished in a countryside style comfortably accommodate up to 5 guests – 4 people in beds and 1 extra bed on a sofa bed.
- Each apartment includes: a separate bedroom with a double bed (160 × 200 cm) and two additional beds (80 × 200 cm),
- a fully equipped, pleasant bathroom with a shower and toilet,
- a spacious living room connected to a kitchen, dining table, and a sofa bed (110 × 200 cm).
- The apartments feature slanted attic ceilings, and access is via steeper spiral stairs.
- (For seniors and guests with limited mobility, we recommend choosing a ground-floor apartment.)
Ground Floor Apartments
Practical, elegant, barrier-free apartments furnished in a countryside style comfortably accommodate up to 5 guests – 4 people in beds and 1 extra bed on a sofa bed.
- Each apartment includes: a separate smaller bedroom with a double bed (160 × 200 cm) and a work desk,
- a fully equipped, pleasant bathroom with a shower and toilet,
- a spacious living room connected to a kitchen, dining table, two beds (80 × 200 cm), and a sofa bed (110 × 200 cm).
- The apartment offers barrier-free access from the rear of the building / from the terrace, making it ideal for seniors and guests with reduced mobility.
Apartment and Common Area Facilities
Advantages of staying at DOMA POD JAVOROM – 4 apartments:
- 2 ground-floor apartments – more spacious and comfortable, suitable for guests with disabilities,
- 2 upper-floor apartments – offering even more beautiful views of the Tatras.
They are ideal for families or groups of friends who want to spend time together while still enjoying privacy. For extra comfort, the two cottages are connected by “secret” internal doors, allowing larger groups to move freely between the two parts of the property without going outside.
Kitchen and Room Equipment
Each apartment features a fully equipped kitchen:
- toaster
- dishwasher
- refrigerator
- electric kettle
- coffee machine
Air conditioning, a TV, and high-speed optical internet are also available – although the “human connection” works best here. For your convenience, a washing machine is available in the common areas.
Parking
In front of the property there is free parking with four parking spaces – one for each apartment – plus two additional parking spaces within the fenced area directly on the property.
Garden
Behind the building, a spacious terrace and a quiet garden are available for summer evenings, where you can enjoy grilling with friends by the open-air fire pit.
Combining Multiple Apartments
When booking multiple apartments, the property can also be used for groups, family gatherings, or teambuilding events. The ground-floor kitchens and living rooms can serve as a shared dining area for up to 16 people, as well as a common social space. The upper apartments can together accommodate up to 12 people in bedrooms.
About the Construction of the Eco Homes
DOMA POD JAVOROM
The story: FROM NATURE TO SLOW TOURISM…
When we decided to build DOMA POD JAVOROM, we knew we didn’t want an ordinary building. We wanted to create a place that would breathe, a place that would be healthy for people and for nature.
That’s why the apartment building is a healthy wooden structure – made of a living material that reacts to humidity, temperature changes, and creates a natural microclimate. The walls are filled with wood-fiber insulation, an ecological alternative to conventional synthetic materials. As a result, the house breathes, retains heat, and creates a natural indoor climate – warming in winter and cooling in summer.
For the walls, we chose clay plaster – not only beautiful but also “old-school intelligent” (AI 🙂). It absorbs moisture and releases it when the air becomes dry. It purifies the air, absorbs odors, binds dust, and regulates temperature – making it an ideal choice for allergy sufferers and creating a stable, healthy interior climate. Its surface has a gentle irregularity that no machine can replicate – only hands working with love can create it.
The exterior wooden cladding and fencing were left in their natural form – treated only with ecological oil that allows the wood to breathe. It doesn’t hide the scent, grain, or small imperfections – because these are what make every piece unique. The wood remains alive, gains a patina over time, and becomes even more beautiful – like everything truly authentic.
DOMA POD JAVOROM is more than just a name. Around the wooden homes, we planted dozens of trees, including maple trees. Be sure to notice them and count how many you find along Javorová Street.
Being eco-friendly for us doesn’t mean only building with natural materials, but also living with respect for the environment around us. We separate waste, use ecological soaps and cleaning products, save water and energy, and support local producers – because we believe that small steps lead to big changes.
